Mesón Añejo
Mesón Añejo sits on Calle Comercio in the centre of Aguilar and serves traditional home cooking with the odd modern touch. The specialities are stone-grilled beef rib steak, aged for 25 to 30 days, and oven-roasted milk-fed churra lamb with Castilla y León PGI status. The beef and black pudding come from the Palencia Mountains, the potatoes are organic from the Las Loras Geopark, and in season the vegetables and tomatoes come from their own kitchen garden. There are two dining rooms, a summer terrace and a wine bar.
